Welcome to the Young Adult Program, also known as YAP.
YAP – Junior Ski Patrol Opportunities:
Improve skiing and/or boarding skills
Learn how to handle a toboggan
Attain first aid knowledge via Outdoor Emergency Care (OEC) class
Attain CPR certification
Learn basic avalanche awareness
Learn radio communication skills
Improve leadership skills
Take charge of accident scenes
Manage patients, resources and other patrollers
Learn how to interface with emergency services
Get credit for community service hours
Meet other students from across the State, Division, or across the nation
